Those three words carry so much. In Busoga, we greet each other with questions about well-being, about rest, about the journey of the day. It is a language that cares.

I started Kisoga Tales because I believe every Basoga child — whether they live in Kampala, London, Toronto, or anywhere in the world — deserves to hear and read their mother tongue. Not in a textbook, not in a grammar exercise, but in a story. A real story about the Nile, about drums, about the kob that runs across the savannah.

Our first six comics are just the beginning. Each one is written in Lusoga with English alongside, so that parents and children can learn together. The vocabulary pages at the back turn reading time into learning time.
